Whale Shark part 2

Finally made it...as best as I can. 

Not realistic, been taking artistic liberties here and there. Spots on whale sharks example.
Been too busy this week. So I am posting as much as I can.

She Barking mad?

Whale shark

Incomplete digital painting based on a dream I had.

 I'm slowly becoming obsessed with spots and dots, coincidentally Yayoi Kusama  had recently been on the media radar, due to her collaboration with Luis Vuitton (view the collection here) Its exquisite!
Her story is amazing too (read it here)

A lot of adjustments needs to be done before this is complete.

My grandfather loves elephants, so I often associate them with him. He is very wise.

Trying this gentle pencil approach in the style of Helen Oxenbury. 

When I was reading The Three Little Wolves to my cousin (and myself), I remembered how I would read Alice's Adventure in Wonderland over and over again just because I loved  Oxenbury's illustrations.

I got this idea from looking at other cars when we spent time driving. Sometimes the activities within a car offers an insight of the kind of people who own it.

London Olympics sketches

First of all

Best-pen-ever!

I love it. Between projects and moving out, I've been able to watch some Olympics events. I couldn't resist drawing when watching the Judo finals.

That pen gives me joy. Thank you Canadians!

Sorry its been a while-just want to thank you Canadians (you know who you are ;-)) 

The watercolors I made aren't as visible when scanned and I'm deciding on weather to post those other 'car sketches'.

Sketches

Accidentally found myself watching an entire film while researching for my fab friend Fabienne project.  It was about conflict and love. Nothing to do with the project- but I made a sketch of the film anyways.

So I'm off to Vancouver - so excited- seeing my Canadian family and 'crossing' the Atlantic for the first time! Have a good summer break.
