Bittersweet

This will be towards a series I'll probably make into cards. Was thinking of family and friends going through a hard time at the moment (the bitter) Did this while watching glimpses of the Royal Wedding (hence the sweet)

My messy sketch, playing with watercolors.  Trying to figure out how why this image appears different from my laptop compared to the iMacs at college. 

When I was watching Glee last week I saw the rendition of Kesha's 'Tik Tok' , I wanted to do a watercolor illustration of this. I like Heather Morris (who plays Brittany) as a dancer.

Looking to invest on good watercolor paper.

True Grit

Half watched the 1969 'True Grit' this weekend. I liked the character of Mattie and the simple attire  she wore (accredited to the costume designer Dorothy Jenkins)

Spring/Summer

I think we can all agree that this spring heatwave makes us feel like we are in July.
There are some really cool outfits in town;

 I hope to start/continue sketches because I have been feeling a little like this;
